Terms and Conditions 

Calfkiller Bend Campground assumes no liability for personal injury or loss of property. Calfkiller Bend Campground provides these facilities and grounds for your convenience and enjoyment.  Campers are allowed to fish with license, but absolutely NO SWIMMING.  Please be advised the terrain to the river is steep and caution should be used. Children should be accompanied and monitored by an adult at all times, especially near the river and/or trails. Campers should use caution and stay on designated trail when walking to or near river at all times. Please take note of the rules and regulations listed below. It is your responsibility to read and abide by these rules. The Camper acknowledges that the campground is located on steep, river‑adjacent terrain with inherent risks of flooding, erosion, and unstable ground. The Camper assumes full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others, and agrees to release the campground owner from liability for any injury or loss arising from these conditions or from guest negligence.

By accepting this reservation, camper hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Calfkiller Bend Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with campers’ use of the property. Further, camper agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Calfkiller Bend Campground from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Calfkiller Bend Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with campers' use of the property. Camper further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. 

If you have any questions, contact the office and/or campground owner. Violation of these rules and regulations is cause for revocation of this permit.

  • Tenants and Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.
  • Tenant assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Landlord harmless from and indemnify Landlord against the same.
  • The campground is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.
  • We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.
  • No campsite will be rented to anyone under the age of 21. Campers under 21 years old must be at their campsite by 10:00 p.m. unless accompanied by an adult.
  • All guests and visitors must register in the office upon arrival.
  • Calfkiller Bend Campground reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.
  • A 5 MPH speed limit must be followed throughout the campground.
  • Calfkiller Bend Campground does not allow the delivery of mail or packages to any guests.  Guests must make arrangements to have their mail or packages delivered to a third-party location for pickup.
  • All Motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance.
  • We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.
  • Total number of guests in any space cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that site.
  • Propane grills and propane fire pits are allowed.
  • Blowup mattresses, sleeping bags and cots are not allowed outside.
  • Maintenance on RV’s or vehicles on property is not allowed.
  • Washing RVs or vehicles on property is not allowed.
  • The use of any paint products or chemicals is prohibited.
  • Clotheslines are not allowed.
  • Guests may not hang any items from the trees.
  • All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay.
  • All trash is to be disposed of in enclosed trash receptacles throughout the resort.
  • DO NOT leave trash out overnight.
  • All guests should ensure pets and small children are supervised at all times.
  • All guests must stay within campground boundaries. When walking to or near river, campers should use the designated trail.
  • No trespassing on neighboring land is permitted.
  • All guests are to comply with rules and posted signage within campground.
  • Please respect other guests, do not play TV’s or radios so loud that your neighbor can hear the noise. Please do not walk through other guest’s campsites. Please properly secure personal belongings.

Important Times:

  • Check-in time is 3 p.m. and Check-out time is 11a.m. for RV sites. If the site is not cleared by check-out time, you will be charged a late check-out fee of $25 per hour.
  • Daytime visitors may enter after 7am and must leave the campground no later than 10 pm.
  • Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7am. No motorized vehicles, including golf carts, should be driven inside the premises during quiet hours, unless you are entering to drive to your site. Please be respectful.

Campsite:

  • Only one motorhome, camper, or travel trailer is permitted on a designated campsite.
  • The number of automobiles may not exceed two per campsite. This does not include golf carts. We do not have over-flow parking.
  • Campsites must maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • No decks or permanent structures are allowed. If temporary steps or a temporary stoop is required to gain access to an RV, these must be approved in advance by the campground manager and must be no larger than 40 sq ft.
  • Any altering of the dimensions of a site is not permitted. This includes gravel, rock, flowers, plants, signs, etc.
  • Sub-leasing campsites is not allowed.
  • WARNING: HIGH WATER PRESSURE!:  It is strongly recommended to use a pressure reducer valve. They are available for purchase in the Camp Store. Calfkiller Bend Campground is not responsible for any damages due to ruptured water lines.
  • Sewer Hook Ups: All campers must have a 90 degree sewer adapter. This prevents sewage from leaking around the fitting. Always dump your black water tank first. Please clean and rinse the discharge hose in the grassy area so as to keep the site and roadways clean for the next guest. Please be as sanitary as possible.

Pets:

  • No more than 2 pets allowed. Pit Bulls, Chows, Rottweilers, Dobermans, and English Mastiffs are not allowed.
  • All pets must be on a leash and under the control of a registered camper at all times. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. No pet should be left tied up outside unless they are attended by a camper.
  • Any pet showing signs of aggressive or threatening behavior such as growling, snarling, or biting will be removed from the campground immediately.
  • All pets must also be up to date on vaccines, and copies of pet vaccine records must be available upon request. Upon check-in, please notify the office of your pets if you have not already added them to your reservation during the booking process.
  • Owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of pet waste in dumpster or trash receptacles, not in the river.
  • Playground area is off limits to animals.

Visitors and Children:

  • Campers are responsible for the conduct of children and visitors. Children must be under the care and attention of an adult at all times and may not be left at the campground unattended.
  • Only those with a valid drivers license may operate motorized vehicles in the campground. Golf carts must obey the same rules as automobiles, including traffic flow on one-way roads.
  • Registered campers are allowed to have visitors as long as the total number of campers plus visitors does not exceed six people over night per site. The campground manager may limit the number of daytime visitors allowed as circumstances dictate. The registered camper is responsible for their guest following ALL rules.
  • No overnight visitors are allowed unless accompanied by the registered camper.

Watercraft:

  • Calfkiller Bend Campground does not have a dock. Campers may bring their own kayaks but should be aware the terrain to the river is steep and automobiles, side by sides, quads, nor golf carts, or any other motorized vehicle is allowed down to the river. Campers must register their kayak/watercraft with the office.
  • No watercaft may be moored/secured or anchored to the shoreline at any time.

Fires:

  • Each site is provided one picnic table, as well as one fire pit if allowed by local regulations. Please do not burn or leave trash in fire pits, and please do not move fire pits without permission from the staff. All fires must be contained to the pit/ring, and campfires are permitted from 8 a.m. to midnight. Never leave a fire unattended. County bans may occur and will be posted at the office.
  • Do not burn garbage
  • Fires shall be confined to fireplaces, grills, or other appropriate facilities where provided. Campers shall use reasonable care in handling campfires.
  • Do not burn wood with nails, screws, or staples.
  • No outside firewood is permitted.

Guest Owned Golf Carts

Guests shall comply with all of the following rules governing the use of guest-owned golf carts:

  1. Each guest owning a golf cart is solely responsible for ensuring that all operators of the golf cart are a minimum of 16 years of age and possess a valid driver's license (moped licenses, learning permits, etc. are not acceptable).
  2. Guest-owned golf carts must have their lights (if equipped) turned on at all times while in operation after sunset.
  3. Guest-owned golf carts shall not be operated during quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  4. Golf carts must obey the same rules as automobiles, including traffic flow on one-way roads. Follow rules and posted signs.  Golf carts are prohibited on the access trail to the river or anywhere within the woodline to the river.
  5. Guest-owned golf carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing or other misuse of guest-owned golf carts will not be tolerated. Guest-owned golf carts are to be operated on gravel roadways only. No driving through RV sites or other restricted areas. OPERATION OF GUEST-OWNED GOLF CARTS WHILE CONSUMING OR UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, MARIJUANA OR ILLICIT DRUGS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
  6. A guest-owned golf cart's maximum seating capacity must never be exceeded. Operators and passengers of a guest-owned golf cart must be seated at all times while the golf cart is in motion.

Bikes

Don't forget your bike helmet. In addition to following local regulations, we recommend that all riders wear a helmet while riding a bicycle. Bike riders must obey the same rules of the road as a motor vehicle. When operating a bike after sunset, you must have a light on both the front and back of the bike. Bikes should be kept to the road as the terrain is not conducive for bikes. Bikes are not allowed on the access trail to the river or in the woodline anywhere on the property.

Prohibited:

  • Alcohol beverages, illegal drugs, firearms, and fireworks are prohibited.
  • Wandering through another's campsite will be tolerated. Vandalism and disrespect for another persons property will be cause for having to leave the campground.
  • The operation or use of any motorized vehicle or noise producing device of any kind which unreasonably disturbs, annoys, or endangers any person is prohibited. No ATV's are allowed, including side by sides.
  • Absolutely no draining of grey water or sewage onto the ground. Outdoor sinks are not permitted.
  • No open or closed utility trailers are permitted on the campground.
  • Motorized items such as drones, motorbikes, hover boards and similar motorized recreational items are prohibited.

General Liability:

1. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets. Any costs incurred by Calfkiller Bend Campground due to damages (e.g., damages to electrical pedestal, water spigot, fences, trees, picnic tables, fire rings, signage, grass, etc.) caused by guest or guest’s visitors or by anyone on a site paid for by the guest, or costs incurred by Calfkiller Bend Campground for removal of personal property owned by guest or guest’s visitors or anyone on a site paid for by the guest will be charged to credit card on file and/or deducted from remaining deposit balance. Guest agrees to be billed if other payment methods are insufficient.

2. The park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.

3. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.

4. All Motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance.

5. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.

6. Total number of guests in any space cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that Site. RV sites max 6 people.

7. Maximum of 12 people total at a site at any given time, including guests and visitors.

8. Visitors are welcome at guest sites between the hours of 7 am to 10 pm, but they must first register at the office.

9. Calfkiller Bend Campground is in a natural wildlife habitat area.  All guests should ensure pets and small children are supervised at all times.

10.Parents or Guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children at all times.

I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests, to abide by the Park Rules, including those rules and policies published in our disclosures and on our website.  I further understand and agree that Calfkiller Bend Campground does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Calfkiller Bend Campground's refund policy varies, depending on the timing of the cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date, as follows described in our cancellation policy. Camp Credit can only be redeemed in the same calendar year as the cancelled reservation and can only be applied toward your site. For reservations paid with a credit card, cash refunds will be credited to the credit card on file with respect to reservation.

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Calfkiller Bend Campground, LLC, its owners, agents, or park management and staff, from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Calfkiller Bend Campground property, facilities, and amenities (collectively, the Premises) and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as slipping and/or tripping on slick rocks and/or terrain, changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; or encounters with wildlife.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Calfkiller Bend Campground, LLC makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility. As a courtesy, our employees, if so requested, may assist with directing you to your designated campsite. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the site will accommodate your specific trailer/RV and that you will not hit any branches, boulders/stones, trees, etc. when positioning your RV on the campsite. You agree to indemnify and hold Calfkiller Bend Campground, LLC its owners and agents (collectively,"Calfkiller Bend Campground Management”) harmless from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney’s fees) that may result from an employee assisting or directing you onto a campsite. Furthermore, you release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Calfkiller Bend Campground Management for any and all liability, loss, or property damage relating to an employee assisting/directing you to your site.

I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me. If I fail to pay the total due, I agree that Calfkiller Bend Campground, LLC may charge any remaining balance (in additional to any damage charges or other amounts owed under these Terms and Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation. Any amounts due after 30 days will be subject to the maximum late charge permitted under state law.

The Premises are privately owned and MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law.

Park Management reserves the right to require any person or party it deems necessary, to leave the campground based on violations of Park Rules or behavior management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests, including but not limited to, racist comments or hate speech, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Rules and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay.

On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Calfkiller Bend Campground, its affiliated entities and partners the right to include any photographic, video and other visual portrayals of each person in my party. Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission to photograph or video visitors/guests while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures or video for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor/guest.
